The importance of media in the dissemination of key health messages can't be overemphasized. This is the reason why they are becoming increasingly popular as the strategy for delivering preventive health messages. Radio program has become one of our key weapons in fighting against the ignorance and misconceptions regarding delicate health issues. Its aired every saturday at 5 P.M at our local station GANATANTRA FM 95.1 MGHZ as "Hamro Swasthya Hamrai Sarokar". Various programs like radio drama and interview with health specialists in different medical fields as well as reporting of club activities is done. Our aim is to deliver basic health and disease related preventive, promotive and curative messages in a easily understandable and accessible form to the most needy rural settings.
